Bandai revealed during Sunday’s Digmon Con live event that it will be launching Seekers project, which will include novels, trailers and merchandise. This project is the last project to celebrate the franchise’s Anniversary of the franchise.
The staff decided to call the new project “Explorers” because each character in the story “will be looking for It is important to them both in the real and digital world.”
The novel will be serialized simultaneously in English, Chinese, and Japanese on Digimon Web from April 3rd. The novel project will be serialized for about one year.
The story will feature three groups: Crackers, Digi-Pops who stop Digimon from committing crimes, and Hackers, which includes a foil for Eiji named Leon. Leon’s partner is Pulsemon.
The first items in the collection will be the Digimon Linker Armband and the BEMEMORY Digimon Seekers Loogamon Dim Card. Reservations are available for a week from Sunday. These items will ship in May.
More trailers for this project will also be released in the future.
