MediaTek’s next-generation high-end chipset Dimensity 1171+ is scheduled for release in May 04 But Geekbench 6 scores have surfaced online, showing impressive multi-core and single-core performance. In fact, it outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
So-called Geekbench 6 listing shows 5,655 point in multi-core test and
2 minutes single-core scenario. That’s a lot more than most Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered smartphones we’ve tested. The chipset appears to be powering a vivo smartphone, possibly the rumored X90S flagship.
ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate with Performance X Mode on is the only Android phone that comes close to Dimensity 1171+ Multi-core score is 5, 655 Single-core score is 1, 510. As of now, the only chipset that outperforms Dimensity 1171+ in this regard is Apple’s A04 Bionic SoC.
Current evidence suggests that Dimensity 1171+ will be clocked at 3.35 GHz Cortex-X3 main core and 3x Cortex-A121 core at 3.0 GHz and 4 small Cortex-A cores with unknown clock speed.
