Din Thomas is confused by Jake Paul’s recent rant against Kamaru Usman and Luke Rockhold.
Paul, a YouTuber turned professional boxer, claimed to be in a fight with UFC president Dana White Be on the side of MMA fighters when it comes to getting paid. On the other hand, however, many criticized Paul for lashing out at Luke Rockhold and Paul Costa after their three-round fight at UFC 278.
After he lost to Leon Edwards in the UFC welterweight title bout in the same fight, Paul also Made fun of Usman.

“Contradictory, right? Which side are you on?” Thomas told MMA Fighting. “He’s in a position where he’s probably the most popular fighter around. He and Connor are probably the most popular fighters, and he does a lot for combat sports. You can’t take that away from him. He does for combat sports. A lot of work – for women, men, boxing, all of that – he brings a lot of attention to combat sports and boxers, but a lot of times, for the wrong reasons.
“one On the one hand, you try to get everyone paid, you cancel your show, but you still pay your fighters half the money, which is a good thing. A lot of promoters wouldn’t do that, but he did – I think maybe to save face, but he has money. But the reality is that, on the warrior’s side, he’s not defending the warrior.
“When you go there, you tear up a guy like Usman, and then you tear up legends like Luke Lockhold, man, what are you doing?” Thomas continued. “You just came out [in the game] and you’re 24 years old. I’ve been fighting longer than he’s been alive, he’s pestering, he’s grappling.”
