In an effort to reduce the NFL’s 80-man roster limit, the Miami Dolphins announced a slew of moves Tuesday morning.
The Dolphins announced they waived safety Sheldrick Redwin, as Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald previously reported. They also announced that they had waived punters Sterling Hofricht and linebacker DeAndre Johnson.
In addition to these moves, the Dolphins ended their season by placing cornerback McKenzie Alexander and linebacker John Lovett on the injured bench.
More to come.
