Days after Don Lemon revealed he was fired by CNN, former CNN this morning co-anchor walks the red carpet at the party and explained, While leaving was a surprise, it’s over now.
Lemon said he looked to the future, and when asked if he would do something different, he told Extra, “I live a life with no regrets, whatever I do, I do, I own,” adding, “I don’t look back and I don’t want to change things from the past…move on. ”
Former Don Lemon Tonight host also talked about his plans for the future, sharing He’ll spend the summer on the beach with his family on a boat, relaxing and figuring out what he wants to do next.
“I’m very lucky to be in a position where I can do that,” he said. “I have time. Even if I want another job, I don’t have to rush to find another job.”
Still, Lemon says he is Excited for our next chapter and trying to stay positive.
“I think life is short and whatever life throws at you, you have to shake, weave and do it,” he said. “I didn’t think I’d get a call one night at work saying my sister had passed away, but I had to deal with it. I didn’t think my dad was going to die of diabetes… so there’s a lot going on with you Unexpected, but I’m a survivor. I come from strong Louisiana descendants, a lot of people support me and they love me.”
