Drew Barrymore is proving to Hugh Grant what her voice can do as he jokingly calls her singing “Horrible.”
at WIRED Video interview released Monday in which he answers “the most searched question on the web,” Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves The actor was asked, “Hugh Grant really sang in Is there music and lyrics ?” He replied that he knew, but he “auto-tuned unbelievably. Actually, that’s not the case. I’m kind of auto-tuned, but not as much as some people.”
The actor continued with a laugh, at 14 Barrymore rom-com, wouldn’t mind him saying “her singing is horrible” in the movie.
This Mark Lawrence-directed film follows former music superstar Alex Fletcher (Grant) when he is asked to play for teen sensation Cora Coman (Hayley Bennett) writes songs, he gets his chance for a career comeback). The only problem is he can’t write lyrics, so he teams up with a young woman who is good at words, Sophie Fisher (Brymore) write songs.
Grant recently went viral after an awkward Oscar red carpet interview with Ashley Graham , and he didn’t stop there. “I’ve heard dogs bark better than she sings,” he jokingly added. “But… once they got her tuned, she sounded a lot better than me because she had heart and voice and rock and roll. While I sound like Julie Andrews, I want to be rock and roll too.”
According to WIRED interview, this The Charlie’s Angels actress was all smiles as she shared a clip of her on Instagram Thursday singing music and lyrics “Way Back Into Love” titled “#SingForHughGrant JOIN ME”. After showing off her singing, she said to Grant, “Oh, Hugh, Bert, Hubert, this is for you.”
