McGill enters governing body for the second time in less than four years.
The Dundee, Scotland-based contractor appointed an administrator this week, Companies House documents show.
Concerns about the company, which employs about 50 people, have been building for weeks after it reportedly asked employees not to come in after it lost its working capital banking facility.
