Eagles' Nick Siliani confirms Jaylen out with shoulder injury, vote of confidence in Gardner, Minshew

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts suffered a shoulder sprain in Sunday’s win over the Chicago Bears, making his Week 16 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys questionable.

Siranni added: “It’s more about healing than suffering because he can overcome anything.”

Hurts told reporters that he “definitely has a chance” to play Saturday.

“I take it every day,” Hurts said. “Everybody knows I’m dealing with something. I think it’s very public. It’s out there. I’m not one to really talk about myself. Obviously, as a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, you can’t escape. But I’m every day Use it for everything and prepare for a really good defense.”

Eagles coach expresses confidence Gardner Minshew can fill in against Dallas and get Philly Moving on. His potential start this Saturday will coincide with the return of tight end Dallas Goedert, who was activated from injured reserve on Tuesday.

“He was ready when his number was called…. If he had to go, we had 100% confidence in him. He would play ,” Sirianni said of Minshew at WIP.

The Eagles could get the top seed in the NFC East and the NFC with Saturday’s win over the Cowboys.
