Eagles' Nick Siliani confirms Jaylen out with shoulder injury, vote of confidence in Gardner, Minshew

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts suffered a shoulder sprain in Sunday’s win over the Chicago Bears, making his Week 16 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys questionable.

Joining Audacy’s SportsRadio 94WIP Tuesday morning, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed the QB’s injury, but he didn’t rule it out this weekend, And pointed out that the club does not think this is a long-term problem.

“He sprained his shoulder … he’s recovering,” Sirianni said, via WIP’s Eliot Shorr-Parks. “We’ll see what happens this week … it’s not something we think of as long-term.”

Harts didn’t miss a beat in Sunday’s win over Chicago Chance, ended up finishing the game with 22 points on 37 passes for 315 yards and two INTs while rushing for three.

Hurts told reporters that he “definitely has a chance” to play Saturday.

“I take it every day,” Hurts said. “Everybody knows I’m dealing with something. I think it’s very public. It’s out there. I’m not one to really talk about myself. Obviously, as a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, you can’t escape. But I’m every day Use it for everything and prepare for a really good defense.”
