Elizabeth Olsen is sharing some advice for actors looking to jump into the world of Marvel movies.
In a recent review about Happy Sad Confused interview with Josh Horowitz on his podcast , WandaVision star said she told the actors that they should start with just one Marvel project instead of signing up for multiple projects at the beginning.
“That way you have more control,” the actress explained. “Suppose you say, ‘Oh my god, this is the funnest thing I’ve ever played, and I love this character so much. I want to do it again. You now have more creative control over the next one.”
Then she joked, “Don’t tell [David] Galluzzi – Marvel business.”
Because , Olsen was in Played Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in multiple MCU projects including two Captain America movies, three Avengers movies, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the series WandaVision , which earned her an Emmy nomination.
As for the next step in her career, Olsen clarified that she does not want to sign another ongoing franchise.
Been driving down this road, now I’m trying to like, turn a little left… a little back,” she explained.
For several years, Olsen said she has been trying to find her “basic along the way,” but has also struggled to turn down projects.
“I do think, When I started getting job offers it wasn’t that I just loved auditioning for pretty much everything — and I kind of loved doing it — and I didn’t really understand how to say no to a project, or how to decipher whether I was supposed to do something,” Love & Death Actress says.
“I don’t really have a philosophy or a plan, I Still no real plans, but I guess it’s more of a philosophy,” she added. “It’s nice to know, nice to have, and it’s great information now when looking at projects with that lens and knowledge. “
