Lily Collins and Ashley Park will return as Emily and Mindy, presumably with the rest of the show’s mainstays: Camille Razat (Camille), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Philippines Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Samuel Arnold (Julien) and Bruno Gouery (Luc). However, the fate of Lucien Laviscount’s Alfie remains in doubt — the actor was promoted to a series regular last season, but his character’s rampage in the final episode of the third installment seemed to mark his on-and-off end Have sex with Emily again. Darren Star, creator of Emily in Paris, hinted at Alfie’s future in a recent interview with Deadline , said: “I don’t think it’s romantic that he’s in the picture [anymore]. I don’t think [taking] Alfie out of the show. He certainly has a reason to go to Paris, and he’s doing it with Gabriel El works together. I feel like all of our characters are still connected, just in a more complicated way.”

Star also says we could see more of Camille’s ex-lover Sofia (Melia Kreiling) and will almost certainly see more of Sylvie’s husband Lo Long (Arnaud Binard). He added that the theme of season 4 will be “how to balance business and bad relationships, because that happens to a lot of our characters.” As for Mindy, she’s dating Nico (Paul Forman), but with her Ex Benoit (Kevin Dias) performing together at the Eurovision Song Contest? “Both will be in her life,” confirms Star. “I don’t know what the details of the shoot are, but I think our plan is to go to Eurovision next season. We’re all set for that.” We can’t wait.
