The UK’s annual Vogue X Self-Portrait Gala takes place in London, forever attracting fashionistas and A-listers alike. This year was no exception and the event was well sponsored thanks to co-organisers Edward Enninful, Editor-in-Chief of BritishVogue and Editorial Director of Vogue Europe. Han Chong and Emily Ratajkowski, founders and creative directors of Vogue, Self-Portrait. The guest list was impressive and included Rita Ora, Michaela Jaé Rodrigues, Hari Nef and Maya Jama, British Vogue
August cover girl, to name a few. However, Ratajkowski’s all-black summer look stood out in a sea of shimmering, colorful dresses. The
model and My Body author looked glamorous yet classy in an all-black ensemble at the star-studded event at Chiltern Firehouse A hint of danger. Naturally a head-to-toe self-portrait, the look included a black velvet ankle-length dress with cutouts, crystal embellishments, and a bold thigh slit in the front. Ratajkowski paired her little black dress with a black platform, open-toed sandals and a black mini bag embellished with the label’s signature metallic bow motif.
All-black dressing is making waves among trendsetters this summer. Such as Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber and Dua Lipa. To prevent overheating, choose a design that shows a little skin and is more breathable, like EmRata’s
Vogue party little black dress.
