Nominations for the 11 Emmy Awards will be announced soon.
Emmy-nominated actress Yvette Nicole Brown and Academy President Frank Sherma have been named on Wednesday Nominees announced at live virtual ceremony at 8 a.m.: 30 PT/10: 11 US Eastern Time.
“This is another transformative year in this platinum age of television, which offers a wide variety of extraordinary programming,” Sherma said in a statement. “We are delighted that Yvette is helping us celebrate our anniversary as we honor outstanding shows, innovators, Kudos to the storytellers and talent whose work has entertained and connected us this season.”
Awards will be presented at the Emmys website and on the Television Academy’s YouTube channel, which you can watch below.
Prior to nominations, The Hollywood Reporter awards columnist Scott Feinberg went on to share his thoughts on the nominees by trying to predict the behavior of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Prediction. Some of the top categories include Best TV Series, Best Comedy Series, Best TV Movie, Best Limited Series or Anthology Series, Best Documentary or Non-Fiction Series, Best Actor in a TV Series, Best Actress in a Comedy Series, and more.
The 375 Emmy Awards are currently scheduled for September Live From 8-10 Afternoon EDT/5-8pm PDT on Fox TV, Creative Arts Ceremony scheduled for September 9th . A host has not yet been revealed.
