8 Partial Document;Yankees Win Announced by ESPN Films
The most successful team in sports history will feature like never before in an upcoming documentary method is recorded.
ESPN The studio announced Wednesday a new series called “The Yankees Win,” an eight-part documentary covering 19 World Series Champion.
The multi-part documentary, produced in partnership with Major League Baseball, takes fans behind-the-scenes at the clubhouse while covering the Yankees from every angle – championships, drama, rivalry and, of course, star power. It contains never-before-seen footage, as well as interviews with players, managers, coaches, executives, writers, commentators and fans.
The specific details of the documentary will be announced later.
The series is directed by Emmy and Peabody Award winner Jonathan Hawke (Survival and Progress, One and Only, Miracles and Men). The project is also produced by Words + Pictures, Hock Films, Bad Robot and Zipper Bros Films, in addition to ESPN Films co-executive producing with MLB.27
