Filmmaker Ethan Coen The title and release date of an upcoming film have been announced.
Drive-Away Dolls will be released in September , 2023, Highlighted features and work titles announced on Monday. Opening at the start of the fall awards season, the comedy marks the first time Cohen has directed a film on his own without his longtime real brother Joel Cohen.
Cohen co-produced the film with Tricia Cooke. They co-wrote the original screenplay and produced it alongside Robert Graff, Tim Bevin and Eric Fellner.
Drive-Away Dolls stars Margaret Qualley , Geraldine Viswanathan, Beanie Feldstein, Pedro Pascal, Colman Domingo, Bill Camp and Matt Damon. Her demure friend, Marianne, desperately needs to relax. Looking for a fresh start, the two embark on an impromptu road trip to Tallahassee, but things go awry when they encounter a group of incompetent criminals along the way.
Focus will release Drive-Away Dolls domestically, parent company Universal Pictures will handle the film overseas .
