Chanel’s two-tone pumps have stood the test of time. First launched in 1984 by founder Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel – who describes the footwear as “the final touch of elegance” – the style has been sold over Years later, Rihanna proved it, wearing a pair on a recent outing in West Hollywood.

Instead of the original beige and black colorway, Rih opted for a pair of embellished silver – one of many modern versions released during Virginie Viard’s tenure at the label.
