The first trailer for the pandemic-inspired horror film Sick has been released.
Movie by Scream Writer Kevin Williamson takes the familiar trope of a group of young people being stalked by a killer in an isolated lake house and adds some COVID-19 – Twists and turns of the times.
Blumhouse and Miramax projects are Directed by John Hyams (Alone), written by Williamson and Katelyn Crabb, Gideon Adlon Starring (The Craft: Legacy), Bethlehem Million (And Just Like That), Marc Menchaca ( Ozark ) and Jane Adams (Twin Peaks).
STORY SYNOPSIS: “As the pandemic gradually brings the world to a standstill, Parker and her best friend Miri decide to spend time at the family lake Villa quarantined alone – or so they thought.”
Sick performed globally at Fantastic Fest in September premiered to strong reviews from critics, cable service UPI announced it’s “the most inspiring big show yet”. Sick will debut on the Peacock streaming service on Friday, January 10.
