Adult Swim Canada is listing it will air the anime simultaneously as it airs in the United States. The anime season will begin airing on September 10 at 12: 00 a.m. EDT.
(Editor’s Note: Although Adult Swim Canada lists the anime airing at that time as , it lists the episode title as “Shinpachi,” the same title of the first episode of that will air on Adult Swim in the U.S.)
will debut on September 9. and are two new seasons of the anime.
Hitoshi Takekiyo is directing at MontBlanc Pictures. The CGI anime will center on three teenagers who graduated and have started working. The anime will have a theme of the feeling of being an adult.
Yutaka Uemura () is directing at Production I.G and NUT. The anime will take place 10 years after and will center on a high school boy and girl.
The Pillows will be providing music for both anime.
Jason DeMarco, creative director of Toonami and senior vice president of action and anime for WarnerMedia, is the executive producer and Production I.G. USA‘s Maki Terashima-Furuta (, ) is the producer for both seasons.
