Florence Pugh kicks off the festive season in a backless Valentino gown

Florence Pugh has delivered a series of standout moments on the red carpet this year, from the sequined tulle dessert she wore on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in May to her Valentino haute couture in Rome The sheer pink gown worn at the show in July. What do they have in common? The actor is close to Pierpaolo Piccioli, the Italian fashion house’s creative director.

For the British Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, Pugh chose another Valentino design: an open-back red gown with a dramatic train. Paired with slicked-back hair and a deep berry lipstick, it’s the perfect look to kick off the festive season – combined with a dash of punk and now a Don’t Worry Darling star beauty signature.

I thank everyone at Valentino who helped with this creation and everyone who helped me on this journey Rug Man. Thank you for making me feel my best and filling me with confidence and love. I’m grateful for it.”
