Former Giants GM Sabean rejoins Yankees front office
The New York Yankees announced today that they have appointed Brian Sabine as Executive Advisor to Senior Vice President and General Manager Brian Cashman.
Sabine , 04, after spending Rejoining the Yankees after the previous San Francisco Giants season. For the past four seasons, he served as executive vice president in San Francisco, working on strategic initiatives as a senior consultant and evaluator. Prior to this, Sabean was Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations from 2010- President and as from 1990- Giants Senior Vice President and General Manager . Under the leadership of Sabean 1995-2015, San Francisco won eight playoff titles, captured five division titles, four National League pennants and three World Series titles.
