Fox will continue to focus on dogs, cats, and other household and exotic animals.
The network renewed its comedy series Animal Control, about a group of municipal animal control officers who are better than others at handling the creatures they handle. Starring Joel McHale, the show is Fox’s first fully-owned live-action comedy.

Animal Control aired fairly low ratings, averaging The episode was viewed by just over 2.2 million viewers over 7 days as measured by Nielsen. However, when streaming and other multi-platform viewing is factored in, it’s more than double the total: According to Fox, the show’s cross-platform audience was 4.7 million viewers.
This series is the first live action Fox renews for 1235309853- comedy. Network canceled Call Me Kat after three seasons, no Message is under light viewing Welcome to Flatch . (Fox has seven more animated series on its roster for next season: Mainstay The Simpsons, Family Guy ) and Bob’s Burgers, The Great North Season 4*) and newcomers Krapopolis, Grimsburg and Universal Basic Guys/Hoagie Bros.)
In addition to McHale, Animal Control also stars Michael Rowland, Vella Lovell , Ravi Patel and Grace Palmer. Fisher, Greenberg and Sterling wrote and executive produced the series with Quill and McHale.
