Fremantle Banner signs priority deal with 'August: Osage County' producer Patrick Daly's Caledonia

Caledonia Productions, banner of theater and film director Patrick Daly, whose credits include August: Osage County, UNA and Galveston have signed with Passenger, led by its founder Richard Brown Priority agreement ( this England, True Detective, catch-15).

Upcoming projects from Caledonian films include feature film Marshall Street and are currently working with Film4 , directed by Nadia Latif. Meanwhile, the eight-episode comedy series SHRINK, developed and executive produced by Daly, is currently streaming on Peacock

“I have long been a fan of working with Patrick, a talented producer with great taste and invaluable creative instinct,” Brown said. “Now that Freemantle is Passenger’s permanent home, we are always looking for exciting opportunities to enhance and expand our capabilities to produce a growing portfolio of high-quality film and television projects. This agreement with Patrick and Caledonia is an important step in making that happen.

In addition to his premiere agreement with Passengers, Daly will continue to work as a production consultant working on live theater staging. Overseeing the live division of EON Productions. Most recently EON credits include the Broadway production of Macbeth (starring Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga), and the stage musical Sing Street Adapted from a John Carney film.
