So. VTubers! In this column we cover some other collaborations between VTubers and video games, from Inugami Korone’s voice being used for foley in Sonic Frontiers to creating costumes Hololive VTubers in Among Us and news about Nijisanji collaboration in Phantasy Star Online 2 last week . While most of my time with VTubers revolves around one VTuber, especially since they’re from a newer agency – VShojo, the first VTubers talent agency in the US. By Justin “TheGunRun” Ignacio and Adult VTubers Projekt Melody at 1980, VShojo and their talents quickly gained a foothold in the VTubers field. They boast a lot of talent; all of their anchors had livestreamed to some degree before joining the agency. Since they put talent first, many even stream as the same before and after joining. I am Nyanners. Nyanners has been an internet figure in some capacity for about 16 years. Nyanners started out as an amateur voice actor dubbing dirty 4Chan memes on YouTube before breaking into streaming and VTubing. She’s part of VShojo’s starting lineup alongside IronMouse, Silvervale, Zentreya, and Projekt Melody, and has set herself aside for some serious Jerma-level inhuman dedication. She appears alongside beloved pioneer VTuber Kizuna Ai who has her own Nendoroid – and she’s a giant too Fan of the Yakuza game; nevermind her old videos end with 20-hour Cinderella as her Up close, her imp cat mascot Goro is named after Yakuza – mainstay Goro Mashima, the Mashima family dog. Ghost-Goro even has an eye patch with his name. This led to someone at SEGA deciding to introduce Nyanners into the hallowed halls of Yakuza as cameos; so now, coming The launch of Like A Dragon: Ishin will feature Nyanners as equipable Trooper Cards. Using Nyanners allows you to drain health from enemies around you (a wisp of health looks like Nyanners’ pet Goro), which could make it a great asset for novices and experts alike.

This is the part where I think about my navel about vaguely related stuff. so! This isn’t the first time a Yakuza/Like A Dragon game has had a wild cameo. These games feature crazy characters from actors such as Takeshi Kitano and Wild image featuring Nana Katase as famous -fan

Yakuza 6 also has a LiveChat feature where you can watch real-life clips of former AV actress Anri Okita part-time anchor in exchange for your super chat history. It was only natural to reach out to VTuber, especially since SEGA had already worked with Hololive and Nijisanji. Nyanners love for Yakuza makes her a natural, but sadly Kiryu Coco is not around. A dragon girl who used to work for Hololive, Kiryu even earned the nickname “Kaichou” (“Chairman”) in honor of her role as Yakuza protagonist Kiryu Kazuma. But with her retirement a few years ago (I hate the idol term in VTuber culture so much, I’ll be dead and buried before I can say “graduation” or “oshi”), that dream was sadly dashed. Even so – it’s a bit of a shame that SEGA didn’t back the 2-for-1 deal and bring VShojo’s Kson into the fray. Her gimmick is a real yakuza member (she has bosozoku to prove it), and her fans likewise call her “Kamichou”. But I think that’s too obvious.

I still hope that my favorite VTuber will have a chance to make a cameo in the game in the future. But now, here you go, big man. Way to make Shinsegumi cringe.

On the subject of being like a dragon: Ishin, SEGA also announced the Dragon of Dojima skin. Players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game can unlock Kazuma Kiryu’s iconic dud suit in-game. It even appears in all the cutscenes! Yakuza thrives in bathos, even though it happened in the Meiji era. Here’s the next best DLC you can get for this game. I wonder if Kiryu took off his shirt to reveal the dragon tattoo…

” Planet Is Dying, PowerWash Simulator!”

PowerWash Simulator is one of the all-time streaming games. It’s totally an experience to check out for yourself, but also very fascinating to see people go through it. It’s all about the feel of it , man: the hiss of the water on the concrete, targeting the spray right into those nooks and crannies of the fence, see that perfect Clean path through caked on sidewalk grime… if your streamer of choice is really good at nailing then this is perfect to watch The atmosphere of the game “Your Friends from the Couch”.

A couple of weeks ago, I made a comment about Croft Manor in Tomb Raider as The DLC for PowerWash Simulator made a small promotion . Square Enix, apparently, hasn’t stopped putting more weird levels into the game, as there will now be a whole bunch of Final Fantasy VII

Themed DLC! All versions of PowerWash Simulator released on March 2nd, completely free, the pack includes five themed levels of fans. You can clean up Tifa’s Seventh Heaven Bar, Scorpion Sentinel, Mako Energy Exhibit, Airbuster, and Shinra Hauler. Sadly, there don’t appear to be any plans to include music (as far as I can tell), but the promotional imagery certainly amuses me. Seeing the PowerWash folks recreate the iconic Final Fantasy VII cover looks like fun.

Looking forward again to the Midgar DLC release on March 2nd. PowerWash Simulator for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and steam. Remember: DLC is completely free. Anyone who buys the PowerWash Simulator will not only get the Midgar DLC, but also the Croft Manor DLC.

Oh hey, Illumination Studios is about to release it Super Mario Bros. movie did something nobody liked with the cast Chris Pratt replaces Charles Martinet, who has voiced Mario for over 25 years.It’s still scheduled for release on April 7 Cloth, but before that, Illumination is on nostalgia 20 – something that grew up in the early days of Mario mania: they made a rap video.

game. Also, the phone number at the top is playing the GameCube startup chime, which sounds like a cell phone ringtone. cute stuff! The deep cuts continue — the testimonial at the bottom refers to “Foreman Spike,” the Mario Brothers’ antagonist from the NES game Wrecking Crew . The Mario reference will continue until morale improves. It’s only a few weeks until the movie hits theaters.

Mary’s Studio First release in US

I’m surprised people didn’t call me out for another week because​​​​ Decided not to mention it for me. Metroid Remastered is not credited to the original development team

that Metroid The Prime remake is, by all accounts, phenomenal. For anyone holding out for a physical release, we’re in for a real treat. I wanted to give a quick salute to one of our readers, Wolf 07, thanks for our hard work breaking down the superficial visual updates Reforged gave us. He just skims the surface, but a lot! The efforts of the developers involved in this remake deserve a lot of love, but uh… so does the original development team from Retro Studios.

While many studios have done great work on remasters, I’m disappointed that the remake of Metroid Prime doesn’t include the full original game credits. As many of you are now discovering by playing the remake, the Metroid Prime credits do not list the original Metroid Prime development team. Some quick text citing the original team, that’s all. Video game “credited to original artist”. Overall, gamers have reacted poorly to this, both from those with experience in the industry and those who played Metroid Prime. No one can really explain why it does this. Some of the replies in this thread brought up their own experience with game development, emphasizing that they always credit the original development team for any remasters/remasters they make Game, even if that means half an hour long credits (as in the Sonic Colors port). One reply even pointed out that their team would even believe the entirety of the original Quake since they used its engine.

Jack Mathews, one of the developers of the original Metroid Prime , says The practice is “a kind of irony”, and I’m inclined to agree.
