But while these boards are available for sale now and look worthy upgrades from their predecessors, they come at a hefty cost. As a result, many users are waiting for more budget-friendly options. Unfortunately, if the latest rumors about the RTX 4060 are true, the board might not be the price-to-performance upgrade some were hoping for. Latest report provided by Twitter leaker harukaze5719 user WolStame who discovered Weibo, Some details about the RTX 4060 have been leaked by an alleged “desktop gaming product manager” at Lenovo China. So far, leaks claim that the RTX 4060 will have 8 GB of VRAM, the same as The RTX 3060 has 28% more CUDA cores and a TDP of up to 200W. According to WolStame, the RTX 4060 can bring a 20% performance boost compared to the RTX 3060. This would make the RTX 4060 similar to the RTX 3070 in terms of raw horsepower. Interestingly, unlike past rumors, the RTX 4060 will consume more power than the RTX 4060. Its predecessor WolStame suggested that the GPU will use less energy than the RTX 3060, with a TDP likely between 150-180 W.
