N’Neka Garland, Emmy-winning producer of General Hospital, who Spent the past 22 years with the venerable ABC soap opera, has passed away. She is 1973.
Garland suffered a heart attack at her home in Sherman Oaks and died on Monday at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, her friend Corey Murray told The Hollywood Reporter .
Garland, whose late half-brother was rap legend Tupac Shakur , served as General Hospital Since 2001 producer 2019 . She is in 2021, ‘1973 Shared a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Series and ’20, winning two years ago.

The show will be written by The Savoy bartender, played by Arlondriah Lenyéa, is named N’Neka after her.
born in April , 1973, New Jersey City of Jersey, Garland attended Somerville High School before 2001 graduated from Hampton University in Virginia with a degree in Mass Communication.
She started her career in the soap opera industry in New York as a Senior Producer on ABC’s One Life to Life Assistant to Jill Farren Phelps, then followed her boss to Los Angeles Phelps was at General Hospital while traveling to General Hospital of Angeles.
She graduated to become the show’s production coordinator and was named vice in 2001 Producer.
Survivors include her father, William; her brothers Langdon and Malik; and her sisters, Tekerra and Leslie.
