TORONTO — Domingo Germain was ejected Tuesday night against the Blue Jays, late in the fourth One inning, the umpires determined that the Yankees were right-hander with an illegal substance on their pitcher.
Germán pitched three perfect innings when he returned to the mound for the fourth inning when he was tackled by first base umpire DJ Reyburn, who checked the pitcher’s right hand and appeared to find goo.

This is the German’s second brush with “sticky stuff” enforcement this season.
