FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Germany’s IG Metall union on Sunday called for a new strike on Monday amid its ongoing wage dispute.
The so-called warning strike will take place in targeted locations in Germany, Hesse, Thuringia and Rhineland-Palatinate, the union said.
Union representing metals and power workers is calling for an 8% pay rise.
