PhotoVogue is pleased to announce the results of its highly anticipated ‘Global Open Call: What is Beauty’. Artists from around the world are invited to challenge traditional aesthetic norms through their visual creations.
Response to the call was truly outstanding, over 5, 000 talented visuals from
countries Storyteller submissions poured in. Each submission offers a unique perspective on beauty, showcasing the diversity and inclusion that PhotoVogue stands for. From reality to fantasy, from documentary to fantasy, entries reflect a wide range of visual aesthetics.
The distinguished jury, composed of Condé Nast employees and experts from around the world, faced the daunting task of selecting the featured artist.
Works by these exceptional artists will be featured in the main exhibition at the upcoming PhotoVogue Milano Festival, from November 16 to 19 day.
The quality and variety of submissions was unmatched, making the selection process extremely difficult. We sincerely hope to be able to showcase more artists, as the talent they are displaying is truly remarkable.
In addition to the main exhibition, we will also be highlighting the work of artists who have received widespread acclaim in our submitted AI-generated images . While the medium is distinct from traditional photography, it was vital to explore the festival’s theme, “What makes us human?” Images in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” and showcase these unique creations.
We are proud to announce that the two artists who submitted the most engaging and impactful work, Luisa Dorr and Sarfo Emmanuel Annor, who will each receive a grant of $5000 to support their artistic journey and grow further. We have exclusive interviews with these talented individuals so you can dig deeper learn more about their work and stories.
