ABC News officially parted ways with GMA3 anchor Amy Robach and TJ Holmes.
“In a discussion with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes, about the difference We all agree that moving forward from ABC News is best for everyone,” an ABC spokesman said Friday night. “We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and thank them for their contributions.”
The news anchors became tabloid fodder after personal ties were revealed late last year . They then left their respective spouses.
The decision was made following an internal company investigation into whether their relationship violated company policy.
Holmes has been on ABC News since 2018 and has co-hosted since
GMA3 . Robach joined ABC News at 2018 and joined GMA3 at .
As reports of the Holmes and Robach relationship hit the tabloids in early December, ABC News President Kim Godwin decided Temporary closure of GMA3 on December 5th its next step. An internal investigation followed.
