Goblin Slayer II Anime’s Video Previews Mili’s Opening Song


The official website for , the second season for the anime of Kumo Kagyu‘s dark fantasy novel series, began streaming a new promotional video for the anime on Friday. The video previews the anime’s opening theme song “Entertainment” by Mili.

The anime will premiere on October 6 on Tokyo MX, AT-X, and BS11, before airing on Sun TV. The show will stream on ABEMA a few hours before the TV premiere. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs.

The returning cast includes:

  • Yuichiro Umehara as Goblin Slayer
  • Yui Ogura as Priestess
  • Nao Tōyama as High Elf Archer
  • Yuka Iguchi as Cow Girl
  • Maaya Uchida as Guild Girl
  • Yūichi Nakamura as Dwarf Shaman
  • Tomokazu Sugita as Lizard Priest
  • Yōko Hikasa as Witch
  • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Spearman

Misato Takada () is directing the series at LIDEN FILMS. Takaharu Ozaki (, ), who directed the anime’s first season at WHITE FOX, will be chief director. Hideyuki Kurata (, , ) is again in charge of series composition. Hiromi Kato () is designing the characters. Kenichiro Suehiro (, ) is returning to compose the music.

Yuki Nakashima will perform the ending theme song “Kasumi no Mukō e” (To the Other Side of the Mist).

The first season premiered in Japan in October 2018, and Crunchyroll streamed the series with subtitles as it aired. Funimation also streamed the series with an English dub.

The theatrical anime episode opened in Japan in February 2020. Crunchyroll launched the episode in July 2020.

SB Creative published the first volume of Kumo Kagyu‘s dark fantasy novel series in February 2016, and Kōsuke Kurose ( Neue Green for Dearly Stars) launched an ongoing manga adaptation in in May 2016. Yen Press has licensed both Kumo Kagyu‘s novels and Kōsuke Kurose‘s manga adaptation. The novels have inspired spinoff novels and manga series.

The -Another Adventurer- Nightmare Feast console game will launch for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam this winter.
