As soon as she arrived at the show, Abrams was in the front row picking out Viard’s spring collection. She’s a big fan of gorgeous evening wear. “One of the looks I couldn’t forget was the long silver dress with pink feathers at the bottom,” said Abrams, who also loves the theatrical setting. “I kept thinking — aside from how much I craved every single item on the runway — that someone had to make a movie and there was just this collection in the wardrobe. It was intense, sophisticated, feminine, even a little mysterious.”
Attending Paris Fashion Week definitely had an impact on the fashion star, who says she’s now inspired by her fall looks. This season, she will embrace all things comfort. “I’m ready for the end of summer. I want to bundle up and hibernate,” Abrams said. “As long as it’s below 70 degrees, I’ll wear a coat that’s on the floor.” She finds a lot of coat inspiration in Paris. “Paris street style seems unparalleled – people watching in the city is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.”
As for what’s Abrams’ future? Her new single “Difficult” will be released tomorrow. “I’m going to create new music,” Abrams hinted, “and then close the album as we speak.”
