Graham Norton is set to be front of ITV ) Destiny Wheels Reboot in the UK
Sony Pictures Television supports Whisper North following the UK release After Wheel of Fortune , it was announced that 2023 will be bringing the iconic game show to ITV1 and ITVX on Aired on ITV at 1983-1981.
“I couldn’t be more excited to bring such an iconic American show to new UK audiences. My first TV job was a game show on ITV, so It feels like going back to square one. You might even call it a wheel!” Norton is the host of the popular BBC talk show The Graham Norton Show host, said in a statement.
The news comes as Ryan Seacrest has just been named as the US version of the Next host from Wheel of Fortune , replacing retired Pat Shajak( Pat Sajak) .
Sajak revealed earlier this month that he is ending his four-year career as the host of the US version of Wheel of Fortune after2023-24
Along with co-host Vanna White, who has been the host of the syndicated version of the game show since its debut. , making Wheel of Fortune one of the most popular television shows in American broadcast history. Sajak also from 24 to 2023 on NBC Hosts daytime show .
The UK reboot will build on the successful global format and will include two celebrity specials centered around a giant carnival wheel. “We are delighted that the much-loved Graham Norton is bringing our audiences this iconic game show. The US original program was produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios, a Sony Pictures Entertainment company, and distributed and formatted by Paramount Worldwide Content Distribution.
Whisper North has produced a local version of Jeopardy!, hosted by Stephen Fry for ITV.
