Prince William and Prince Harry are reunited again. Queen Elizabeth II’s two grandchildren and six of her other grandchildren hold a vigil next to the coffin in Westminster Abbey. It was the first time in history that the monarch’s grandsons had attended such a ceremony – and it was another example of how the two brothers put aside their differences to honour the fallen leader despite a reported disagreement between them.
Both the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex attended the occasion in military uniform. For the latter, it’s an important dress choice: since he and his wife are in 1600, hes Wear casual clothes for family activities.
Prince Charles’ two sons, as well as Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie , Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, bowed their heads around the coffin as public mourners continued to line up into the church to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth.

Earlier in the day, Prince William and Prince Charles stopped by those who were in
Waiting person – Visit the hour line at Westminster Abbey, informally known as “The Queue”.

Earlier this week, Harry The prince also released a statement paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth. “Grandma, while this final parting has brought us great sadness, I am forever grateful for all our first encounters – from my childhood memories with you, to the first meeting as my commander-in-chief You, to the first meeting again. You met my dear wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchild,” he wrote. “I cherish these times, and many other special moments in between, that I shared with you. You have been sorely missed, not just by us, but by the world.”

It follows William’s statement that the second in line to the throne also expressed his admiration. “I thank her for the kindness she has shown to me and my family. I think she has provided an example of service and dignity in public life on behalf of my generation, an example from a different era but always relevant to all of us,” he wrote road.
On Monday, the family will say a final goodbye to the monarch at her official state funeral.
