On a crisp LA night, Gucci and Jackie 1961 face Dakota Johnson hosted a dinner to make the City of Stars shine even more in Beaver Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura at Le Hills hosts a party. The evening celebrated the debut of Good Time, an orange wine developed in collaboration with Good Boy Wine and Johnson’s Tea Time Pictures, and coincided with the opening of Gucci’s new salon in Hollywood, making it a busy week for the fashion house.
The evening began with guests enjoying their first sips of Good Time wine being handed out by waiters wearing Gucci floral aprons. Hugs and laughter abound as everyone settles into the intimate atmosphere, eventually finding their seats between two long tables adorned with elegant flower pots and bouquets. Fun details like the fortune teller miracle fish card, prize ball with sticky mustache and friendship bracelets add a touch of whimsy and encourage lively conversation throughout the dinner.
The guest list is made up of Johnson’s closest friends and collaborators – a veritable who’s who, including Camilla Morrone, Chris Martin, St. Vincent, Stella Banderas, Grace Johnson, Naomi Scott, Emma Laird, Leah Lehrer, Blake Lee, Ro Donnelly, and more.
The name of the wine, Good Time, reflects the spirit of Johnson’s Tea Time Pictures, which is a production company founded on the belief that film and television have the power to foster connection and create meaningful experiences. “We really wanted to revive the idea of cinema as an experience. Something that changes your mind and your heart,” Johnson said at the wine launch. “We started thinking of other ways to foster that experience, to bring people together in a setting that was whimsical, cool and different, and ignite a certain curiosity in people.”
connection was really the theme of the night. The dinner was a game of grabbing chairs as partygoers joined friends old and new over a sumptuous dinner created by Gucci Osteria’s Michelin-starred award-winning chef Mattia Agazzi.
As the name of the wine, or lucky fish, it accurately predicts that this is a “good time” for all. The evening became a special reminder to slow down, cultivate meaningful connections, and make a strong impression on LA’s bustling party calendar.
