The fashion show draws inspiration from the traditional debut ball, reimagined for the designer’s world, with fluidity first.
Reed’s exaggerated silhouettes, upturned ball gowns are right, and dramatic spheres should be complemented by “exaggerated colors, glass-like textures” and rainbow lighting effects”, Charlotte Tilbury makeup artist Sofia Tilbury explains that this is the production “‘ gorgeous, celestial Spinning Charm” comes to life.

“We created unique characters [with] each model to help bring extraordinary semi-couture pieces to life,” Tilbury said. “Fresh, hydrated, airy skin is at the heart of every look.”
“We used Charlotte’s Magic Skincare first, then Charlotte’s Beautiful Skin Foundation all over the face Use the new Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer to smooth and even out skin tone only where it needs to further blur, brighten and enhance the appearance of the skin. We also used the new Airbrush Brightening sparingly on the undereye area and T-zone White Flawless Setting Powder that brightens, blurs and smooths with a spotlight effect, then blends the new Pillow Talk Beautifying Face Palette on cheekbones and temples to shape and add a halo.”
Tilbury uses flashes of color – KISSING Lipstick in Velvet Underground and Hot Lips Lipstick in Tell Laura for a bolder look – adds rhinestones and pops of gold, green and blue eyes . “For one of the looks, I layered the Pillow Talk Beautifying Pillow Talk Face Palette with the Beauty Light Wand in Pinkgasm and blended it all over the eyes and cheekbones for a dramatic, exaggerated, euphoric blush effect, ” Tilbury said. “Finally, we use Beauty Light Wands in Spotlight or Goldgasm on the high points of the face for an otherworldly glow that works beautifully with the light as the model moves.”

Hairstylist and wig maker Ali Pirzadeh wanted to use hair as “an extension of the drapery seen in this season’s collection”. “The hair on the runway represented the fluidity of Harris’ work, with soft waves framing each model’s character,” he said.
Pirzadeh uses Fudge Professional Professional Styling Hairspray, Styling Hed Shine Spray and Skyscraper Light/Medium Hold Hair Spray for this season’s highlight sculpting look, “This Light The cut reflects off the bangs and represents the light that Harris brings to the world.”

Manicurist Simone Cummings has relatively short nails. “I wanted to add extra glamour, and each model had her own style. Some pieces matched the collection’s signature colors, while others were juxtaposed with classic black fully embellished rhinestone nails.”
Recreating a more sophisticated manicure at home is no easy task. “With rhinestones, you need a few Netflix episodes to get the job done!” says Cummings. “But silver nails can be achieved with a lovely coat of polish with a hint of iridescence, cover it with haberdashery glitter, and finish with a top coat.”
