Have you ever heard of forever 1?Here's the Girls' Generation song you need to hear next

Since its founding in 2007, Girls’ Generation has made it easy to switch genres, change ideas, and pop trends. Yet, throughout their colorful musical history, the group has managed to maintain the popularity that has made them enduring – impressive vocal talent, incredible dance, stunning beauty and enchantment Charm. On August 5th, Girls’ Generation returned with Forever 1 after 5 years, full of these qualities.

However, the length of the hiatus means that K-pop newcomers may only know Girls’ Generation’s legends , and now, revel in high energy forever 1 , they are looking for more. There’s an extensive back catalog to explore, so to get you started, here are seven Girls’ Generation songs for you to enjoy after Forever 1 – two of which even have fun technical twists .

Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)

This electro-pop song was released in 2009 and is my personal favorite Love. What’s addicting is the intricate structure and beautiful harmonies of the vocals — mostly between the three members, Sunny, Seohyun, and Taeyeon — especially when the song reaches its climax. The controversial but cute military-inspired navy uniforms don’t quite fit the song, but they look great in the iconic music video shot on the rooftop helipad.

In an example of the group’s incredible versatility, Genie‘s Japanese lyrics and part of the choreography have been changed to Gives it a different feel, albeit in a way more confident that essentially the same song is just sung in a different language.

    Girls’ Generation 소녀시대 ‘Gee’ MV

We do not claim originality by including Gee in this list, Because it’s probably one of the most famous songs in the group, but there’s no doubt it belongs here. It was also released in 2009, but is almost the exact opposite of Tell Me Your Wish (Genie). Gone are the military-style uniforms and helipads, along with the sweet, sweet lyrics, bright primary-color costumes, and cute expressions and gestures. But the beautiful harmonies are still there, and the super catchy chorus makes Gee a Girls’ Generation song that many people will immediately associate with, even if they’re only slightly familiar with the group.

    SNSD-SNSD-Echo [MV]

Echo is one of the group’s most “traditional” idol songs. Aside from the lyrics about bad boys cheating on girls, the MV doesn’t have strict, graceful choreography, but instead gives all members plenty of screen time to play together as individuals or as a group, with lots of cute gestures and seaside locations. Part of the 2010 album Run Devil Run , it was nothing like the polished title track of the same name, again helping to showcase the range of the combo.

    Enter the new world

Girls’ Generation 소녀시대’ 다시만난세계(Into The New World)’ MV

Group Dream Portrait Into the New World The same debut. All the qualities we mentioned above are represented here: super vocals, perfectly synchronized dance and sparkling smiles. Released in early August 2007, the song’s memorable intro was used in the first Forever 1 trailer, which premiered in early August of this year. It’s also the perfect accompaniment song because listening to it today is a great way to see how the members’ talents have developed over the past 15 years.

      Time Machine

Girls’ Generation Girls’ Generation’ Time Ji’MV

Girls’ Generation’s best Japanese albums are all folk songs, althoughAll My Love is For You is sweeter, Time Machine has more poignant, heartfelt lyrics, and always-stunning harmonies give it an edge. The music video also made us see the members differently than the hyper-real visuals and crazy camera work, where the muted winter colors and lingering still shots allow their beauty to shine in a rare way.

    Chocolate Love

Digital Trends is a tech site, so why not use two tech-related songs from the group This concludes our introduction to Girls’ Generation. Chocolate Love is a great idol pop song in its own right, but have you noticed that members are constantly holding their phones? That’s LG BL40 New Chocolate, or Cyon Chocolate as it’s known in Korea, and the song was used in a commercial when it was released in 2009.

If you’re wondering why music videos are rendered in such a tight 21:9 aspect ratio, it’s because the BL40’s 4″ screen has the same ratio. The group also appeared in promotional images for the device, predating anything LG had done with other K-pop groups including Mamamoo and BTS.

Visual Dreams

If Chocolate Love is Girls’ Generation’s technological turning point, then Visual Love is a missed opportunity. Commercials for computer processors are rarely memorable, but that’s the exception to the rule, as the song was used in 2011 to promote Intel’s Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 chips. While the song itself is going well and will only get better the more you hear it, sadly the choreography doesn’t play up to the team’s talent at all.

However, it’s totally worth sticking to the end of the video to hear the members harmonize Intel’s famous five-note sound signature, and then check out this glorious promotional video where Taeyeon, Yoona, and Seohyun show off the 2011 computer processor. Nostalgic and cute.

Forever 1 Release Details

Forever 1 is Girls’ Generation’s 10th album Title song and title, digital release on August 5, physical release on August 8. Interpark is available in online stores including worldwide, with a reliable international shipping system. Before you go looking for more SNSD music, one last thing to note is that you may sometimes see groups called SNSDs.
