HBO and Gibney have a longstanding relationship that includes films about the opioid crisis Crime of the Century , Elisabeth Homes doc Inventor: Bloodshed in Silicon Valley and Made Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Faith .

Anonymous Content’s Nick Shumaker and Jessica Grimshaw are executive producers and David Levine is executive producer. Dana O’Keefe executive produces on behalf of Double Agent with Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, John Friedberg, Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer.
Black Bear will be responsible for the rights to international sales exiting the Cannes market. The deal with HBO was negotiated with UTA’s independent film group, AC Independent and Double Agent.
