) It looks like the Boston Celtics and TD Garden may need some major upgrades to their locker rooms in order to visit NBA teams.
Miami Heat veteran Duncan Robinson slams Celtics for having worst visiting locker in the league room.
“If you walked in and said, ‘This is a high school locker room,’ I’d say it was a s—- y high school locker room,'” Robinson said on his podcast, Long Shot , according to Sports Illustrated’s Jayden Armant.
Milwaukee Bucks guard Pat Connaughton, who was a guest on Robinson’s podcast, agreed with Robinson’s comments. “The Boston Celtics locker room is the worst visiting locker room in the NBA,” Connaughton said .
Both Robinson and Connaughton spent considerable time in Boston’s visiting locker room last season. Celtics knock out Bucks by seven games in Eastern Conference semifinals Eliminate the Heat in the finals by just as many games. The Bucks must play Game 7 in TD Garden, and the Heat have to play Game 7 in Miami.
The visiting Boston locker room may see some upgrades in the near future. But for now, it’s likely to stay the same.
