Crunchyroll Friday confirmed that the animation has been delayed, but it lists it delayed until Friday, June 9. Since the episode airs on a Saturday, Crunchyroll means Saturday, June 3rd. Subsequently, the English-dubbed version of the episode has been postponed from June to June .
The anime premiered on April 1st and is currently airing on TV TOKYO and its affiliates. The show is streaming in Japan on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Hikari TV. Animation is streaming on Crunchyroll in the US, Europe, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The series is played in countries other than Australia, New Zealand, and China. Kaori Makita ( ) is Director animation) MAPPA . Twin Engine is credited for planning. Kazuaki Kinda (, the screenwriter) is in charge of Series composition. Koji Kuzaki (, sub character design ) is designing characters for the anime, and Yoshiaki Dewa (, ) is composing. Singer Ringo Sheena and music project Millennium Parade is collaborating on the opening theme song “WORK”.
The manga centers on Gabimaru, who was once hailed as the most powerful ninja, but has now retired from his profession, violating his village’s laws. After his arrest, he claimed that he had no chance of living. However, due to his superhuman level of training, he inadvertently survived multiple executions, ranging from attempted beheadings to being burned at the stake. The executioner, Sagiri, tells him of his lingering attachment to life and gives him a mission to clear his name: to find the elixir of life.
