Former UFC double heavyweight champion Henry Cejudo has presented Conor McGregor with the “Thriller Moment of the Year” award.
“Triple C” and “Notorious” both aim to return to the cage. Cejudo has decided to retire in pursuit of another title. The former Olympian retired after beating Dominic Cruz at UFC 249 in May 2020.
Meanwhile, the Irish are aiming to return to the cage in a different situation. McGregor has been out of action since last July at UFC 264. In that fight, he lost to Dustin Poirier after breaking his leg in the first round. The loss was his second straight loss to Diamond. Before their return, the former flyweight champion said he should fight the Irishman next. The two have been back and forth several times over the past few months. Now, Henry Cejudo is following Conor McGregor again. At Triple C and The Schmo Show , the 35-year-old takes aim at the former lightweight champ . When discussing a recent video of McGregor doing abs, Cejudo said it was cringe-worthy.
The California native even decided to honor the former champion with the cringe moment of the year award. Coming from Cejudo, also known as “The King of Cowardice”, it means a lot.
