If we had to sum it up 623, we describe this year as one in which wardrobe staples reign supreme. Thanks to a plethora of brands – The Frankie Shop, The Row, COS and Totême, all of which are responsible for redefining the simple wardrobe basic – we’re looking for classic white tees and famous knits more than we might have ever been Be fascinated by fashion pieces that go back in time. That year 695 also launched her eight-piece capsule collection at Hailey Bieber and Wardrobe.NYC These included timeless tailoring, standout coats, model-approved miniskirts and more – and inspired a capsule collection of glamour, wardrobe ubiquity. I am a big fan of these Courrèges turtlenecks. The dense ribbed-knit won’t lose its shape or sag and the neckline won’t slip – a winter must-have. I live in Bassike pants. The boyish cut fits my body well. It’s not often when I wear prints, they’re usually Dries Van Noten. My friend and former Style.com colleague Marina Larroude makes great boots. I’ve put a lot of miles on these.

My uniform is mostly pants and sweaters, Dries Van Noten makes up a lot Space is in my closet. I’ve been replenishing my Saint Laurent boots and The Row loafers. Paskho are my go-to pants for travel or weekends out – they’re super comfy and functional – usually paired with an Organic Basics vest.

I like tighter fitting jeans. It always feels more together and I can get dressed up again and again. An oversized men’s shirt will always be on rotation in my wardrobe, and the Martine Rose is without a doubt my favorite. For me, the classic vintage sweatpants will never go out of style. Plus, it’s smoother than regular sweatshirts. I rarely wear heels, but I can always be persuaded to wear back my Manolos when the dress code is required. The classic buckled kitten heel looks great with evening trousers, slip dresses or cocktail dresses. And it’s super comfortable too.

My capsule wardrobe consists of a range of classic styles, from midi length knits from my favorite brand Proenza Schouler The dresses begin. (I own at least five jersey dresses from the brand.) My co-workers like to call me the Bag Lady because I’m always showing up at the office with a new work tote. My latest obsession? The Margaux inside-out tote from The Row is just big enough to hold everything I need for the office (and a few more). My wardrobe is never complete with a classic Cartier Tank Solo watch on my wrist and a pair of chunky gold earrings. (My favorite outfit is the Missoma.) Finally, I want to make sure I’m comfortable walking around the streets of New York, so I always end my looks with a pair of patterned Chelsea boots.

I’m pretty much a classic. As trends come and go, I probably won’t leave my uniform I love crisp white shirts; this one from Cara Cara is my current favorite because it has a bite mark at the waist. With baggy, baggy, oversized boxy pants stealing our hearts, I’m opting out and sticking with my beloved slim-fit cropped pants. I have styles from The Row and Rag & Bone. I prefer pants that come just above the ankle; they look great with ankle boots in the winter, and when I’m not wearing clothes to keep warm, ballet flats are just fine! This brings me to simple black flats that I love. These flats from Repetto are about the same, but I also wear the classic CC flats from Chanel. Sure, they’re a big investment, but I once had a pair that lasted almost eight years (and went to the cobbler every year). As for the tote, I’m the bag girl kind of thing – this lizard hunting season bag is so chic and something I’ve been carrying around this winter. Finally, no look is complete without a red lip – Odalie by Gucci 180, to be exact. I feel naked without it!

It was hard to narrow down my wardrobe to only six, but the ones I chose it’s all me Often wear clothes. The Éterne suit is hands down my favorite travel casual outfit! It’s super soft and easy to move, helping to reduce the stress of travel days. The Frankie Shop coat is my everyday coat. It’s the perfect oversized shape that will fit easily in your winter wardrobe. For my commute, I tend to use my Telfar Medium tote as it fits my laptop well without being too heavy on the shoulders. When it comes to jewellery, I never go out without a Mateo New York ring because it always strikes me as luxurious. On days when I don’t know what to wear, I can always find one of my Christopher John Rogers knit dresses! As long as you put it on, you are in front of you in an instant!

I often stick with buying over multiple iterations , Material, Color etc. with the same type of outline. Quality trousers and jeans and basic tops like structured tees and men’s button-down shirts – in multiple iterations – make up my buildable capsule wardrobe, along with accessories like quality belts, comfy loafers and Earrings, which feel more special than earrings, but are discreet enough to be worn all the time. This is my current rotation!

My approach to dressing is that timeless tailoring usually wins. For me, there’s nothing quite as chic as wearing a pair of stylish pants, like these from Favorite Daughter, with a cozy knit in winter and a crop top in summer. That’s not to say I’m not a fan of more feminine pieces, like this embellished midi dress from British designer Wales Bonner. Loulou Studio is a brand I recently discovered (and fell in love with). This cashmere-blend jacket is perfect with baggy jeans or the midi skirt I mentioned earlier. For accessories, I go back to my minimalist aesthetic, always going back to Weejuns two-tone loafers and Prada’s Cleo bag.

I The definition of a capsule wardrobe is to thrive on high-quality essentials that lean more towards the glamorous side of the spectrum. For example, I love the drama of a maxi skirt paired with a fitted turtleneck. (I’d give it bonus points if it was a little sheer, because I love revealing and concealing moments.) For accessories, I’ve traditionally only liked gold, but this season I’ve switched my go-to for a sparkly one that now feels special Fantastic silver work.
