This dress feels like the right kind of ’23 disco glamour A modern twist, with its dramatic winged sleeves, à la Donna Summer. Jenner completed the slightly bumpy look with some statement, alien style sunglasses. The ensemble wrote: “Batgirl in the studio at a party.” Great.
Jenner has long had a soft spot for Acne Studios. Last year, she embraced texture when she wore a furry bucket hat, furry boots and a shiny fur coat from Acne Falls collect.
Apparently cover up is new to show it off, at least in the Kardashian-Jenner world. Kylie’s older sister Kim loves to wear Balenciaga from scratch dress to the feet. One striking moment was an aqua blue dress Kim wore after the Oscars earlier this year, and then again in a Balenciaga ad campaign.
A miracle if Jenner would continue this fun and brutal vibe. (She wore Comme Des Garçon’s hands over her clothes a while ago. Another DC Universe-ready look.) Either way, it’s great to see Jenner playing with her fashion now. We should all do this.
