Activate radiance

Sculpt and highlight without knowing it
“Now that everyone knows how to contour and it’s become part of their daily beauty routine, people realize you can get a sculpted look with less makeup,” says Dedivanovic, who pioneered his ” Soft sculpture” technology. To apply bronzer, use a tapered contouring brush and a powder formula that’s not too warm or red, like Mario Soft Sculpt Bronzer’s Dedivanovic’s Makeup. Start slightly above the hollows of the cheeks, then “blend upwards to subtly lift the skin and add some warmth,” Dedivanovic directs. “This will create a natural look.” Then, add a layer of contour over the eyes for an overall more “natural, monochromatic” effect. For highlighting, Dedivanovic recommends dampening a highlighter brush with a powder highlighter, like his Soft Glow formula, before wetting it, and smoothing it evenly and gently onto the high planes of the face for a “melting” effect. “Instead of the product staying on the skin, it feels like it’s part of the skin,” says Dedivanovic.

Give yourself a lip lift“I just love matte lips right now,” says Dedivanovic. “During the holidays, it’s all about those bold berries and deeper reds—they’re very wearable.” To create the illusion of fuller lips, refer to Dedivanovic’s viral TikTok “lip lift” strategy, which includes Slightly line the upper lip, focusing on the Cupid’s bow area and the lower lip, extending the liner up to the outer corners of the lower lip, then diffuse and blend the lip liner with a brush. Then, to enhance the effect, cover it with a matte lipstick, like his Ultra Suede formula in warm crimson Alicia. For a flawless finish, take a dab of foundation or concealer and use a brush to start on the inner lips and work out to the outer corners, refining the lip edges. “Especially for more mature women, it gives your lips a little lift,” says Dedivanovic. Once your lips are in place, add a layer of translucent powder to set it in place and prevent feathering as the night progresses .
