Last Thursday in Los Angeles, the founder and CEO of her eponymous fashion label, Nili Lotan, teamed up with stylist Karla Welch for a dinner at Gigi’s restaurant. The reason for the party? Nili Lotan’s first West Coast store opens in the heart of Sycamore Avenue. Combine that with the brand’s 20 anniversary being the night, and the celebration was in order indeed.
The guest list is a testament to Nili Lotan’s influence – attendees include Olivia Wilde, Michelle Monaghan, Adwoa Aboah, Zoe Lister-Jones, Luke Gilford and more. Most wore Lotan’s sleek, power-packed separates (military-inspired tailoring and slip dresses are the brand’s signature). All enjoyed a range of seafood dishes that paid homage to the unique West Coast culinary palette, from oysters and Scallops to smoked trout kebabs. It was a distinctly LA night and a very warm welcome to the designer.
