Jennifer Coolidge won an Emmy last year, winning a limited-edition role as troubled heiress Tanya McQuoid in Season 1 of The White Lotus Best Supporting Actress in a Play , won a total of trophies, including best limited series, director and screenwriter. But this isn’t the first time she’s appeared on a behemoth at a awards show – in fact, 20 a few years ago, She made her debut on Seinfeld.

The actress has been at The The Groundlings perform regularly. In the ninth episode, “The Masseuse,” Coolidge plays Jody, a massage therapist who is dating Jerry but is reluctant to give him a personal meeting.

“How many times do I have to go out with her before I get a massage?” Jerry complains to Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) . “Jerry, she’s been doing massages all day,” Elaine said. “She doesn’t want to date them.” Tensions mount as Kramer (Michael Richards) arranges for Jody to get a massage before Jerry gets one.

THR commented on this season “Seinfeld Still the funniest, most original and most spoofed adult comedy on TV” – a testament to the incredible cast and approach of Seinfeld and David, who told THR: “I thought [the show] was fresh because neither of us was really on a half-hour show. …We didn’t know what you were supposed to do, so we followed our own way.
