Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren is being examined for a possible right foot injury during Saturday’s pro-am game in Seattle, a team spokesman told ESPN.
“Chet is in the ongoing evaluation process and will communicate when we have an update,” the spokesperson told ESPN. CrawsOver Pro-Am event while defending LeBron James on the fast break.
Holmgren was one of many NBA players to compete in the Pro/Am, along with James, Jayson Tatum, No. 1 pick Paolo Banchero, Dejounte Murray and Aaron Gordon.
The game was canceled in the second quarter due to court conditions. An unusually wet day in Seattle combined with crowds resulted in recurring wet spots and condensation.
The 7-foot-1, 195-pound Holmgren averaged 14.0 points and 8.4 rebounds in five games with the Thunder in Las Vegas earlier this year Summer League.
