Fact: Anya Taylor-Joy exudes ethereal beauty. “She’s the ultimate muse,” said makeup artist Georgie Eisdell, who worked with stylist Ryan Hastings and hairstylist Gregory Russell on Taylor-Joy’s 100 Golden Globes look. “Her face is a painting’s dream.” To accentuate the actor’s two-piece lemon-colored Dior dress, the team borrowed from iconic supermodels from decades past.
Russell. “I wanted to create a sleek, modern version, so I decided to do a center part, straight length, and pinned to one side.” Taylor-Joy’s partial fix peroxide pulls the focus onto her face, along with Dior Beauty details. Inspired by the supermodel, Eisdell created a smoky eye with the Dior 5 Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palette in the Nude Dress, paired with 90 Rouge Dior in Nude Look Velvet (the perfect nude shade, according to Eisdell’s estimation, and the only beauty product Taylor-Joy carries with her to events).
Mainly, but? Taylor-Joy’s team gets creative while enjoying each other’s company. “We both love doing accents when we get together, so it’s always a lot of fun,” says Isdel. “When it comes to looks, it’s very much a collaboration between Anya, Ryan, Gregory and myself.” Russell agrees. “I haven’t lost sight of how lucky I am to work with such a great team and with Anya, [she] is incredibly creative and talented,” Russell said. “She loves to push a look and have fun doing it. She has the confidence to carry it and I get excited every time I see her before she walks out of the house.” What is unforgettable may be the friends you make along the way.
