Redmayne’s sleek black Alexander McQueen jumpsuit was a highlight at this year’s BAFTAs. “It’s very classic and classy, but the fact that it’s a jumpsuit without a shirt is really interesting,” says Lambert. He also loves the Maison Margiela couture suit that Redmayne wore to the New York premiere of The Good Nurse
— “it fit him perfectly,” says Lambert — and the embellished Redmayne wore a red Gucci top at the GQ Person of the Year Awards. “Honestly, I’m not sure it would suit him—it’s a very extroverted look,” Lambert said. “But he put it on and it looked perfect.”
The two agree that cut and fit are crucial to nailing experimental garments. “We always have one, two, sometimes three accessories to make sure the look is great,” says Lambert. For example, a Saint Laurent suit was tried on a few times and then changed. The couple also always add a clock. “We always do one of his Omega watches,” says Lambert (Redmayne is the face of the brand). “They gave us an amazing selection of watches at the start of awards season.”

Sadly, the actor won’t be at the Oscars on Sunday, but this That doesn’t mean the duo’s winning streak is over. “What we’ve really learned over the last six months is that Eddie can wear great clothes,” Lambert said. “We wanted to show that Eddie can take risks, look good take risks, and really have the ability to own his looks.”
