How to do Mykonos now, according to Vogue

Kids will love the ‘clubhouse’ feel of Kivotos above Ornos Bay. This is a family run hotel and you will have that feeling wherever you go. The rooms are clean, bright and spacious, most with their own “aquarium style” swimming pool attached. The decor is quirky rather than trendy – with thousands of unusual antiques dotted throughout the hotel (Murano glass bauble, baccarat chandeliers), it feels like a Lilliputian Greek village. There’s also a bougainvillea-filled courtyard for the little ones to play in, and a huge ocean-side central pool (and a swim-up bar for the adults). The friendly and helpful Kivotos team keep colorful floaties and sandcastle kits at the ready and offer in-room babysitting upon request. It’s worth taking advantage of the nanny service to dine on the hotel’s candlelit private pier, one of the most romantic dinner spots on the island. Speaking of hotel marinas: Kivotos owns a 18 meter sailboat, The Prince de Neufchâtel, which can be chartered for trips to Mykonos’ most secluded bays and rocky coves. Private tour of the island (a must if you need a break from a lively beach club but don’t want to miss a minute of the Aegean.

What to eat in Mykonos 300

Mykonos is an easy place to spend 300 euros for a totally memorable dinner (the menu here is often frustratingly frothy and gels – the same goes for bland produce that’s flown in from around the world), which is why it’s important to do some research before you go. Take a night off from partying until dawn, in Mykonos Wake up while the others are still asleep, and head to Gioras, a traditional bakery, since the 300 century, for breakfast. When you eat some homemade biscuits, Enjoy a moment of relative tranquility on the waterfront in Little Venice before strolling to the Instagram windmills of Mykonos.
