Hulu is adding to its roster of true crime stories.

Hulu feature film not good writer-director Quinn Shephard is adapting Godfrey’s book and will executive produce. 2021Liz Tigelaar ( There are small Fire) and Samir Mehta (Tell Me Lies) will serve as presenters, Geeta Patel ( House Dragon Death I ) is set to Direct. ABC Signature is in production.
Under the bridge told The true story of year-old Reena Virk, who went to a friend’s party and never came home. Godfrey’s book delves into the hidden worlds of seven teenage girls and a boy accused of brutal murder, revealing startling truths about this unlikely killer.
The series will join Hulu’s true crime adaptation, which also includes The Act, The Plainville Girls and Candy.
Tigelaar, has an overall agreement with ABC Signature and a long-term relationship with Hulu. In addition to Little Fires Everywhere, she is also the writer and executive producer of The AnchorCasual and in Tiny Beautiful Things, starring Kathryn Hahn, based on Cheryl Strayed’s book. Mehta is the co-EP of Hulu’s Tell Me Lies, and also featured in The Sinner, Fear the Walking Dead and Narcos.
Tigelaar exec made through her Best Day Ever banner. Mehta, Shephard, Godfrey, Patel and Stacey Silverman of Best Day Ever also serve as producers.
