As Paris Fashion Week wraps up, Jonathan Simkhai and Alex Carl keep the party alive. The Los Angeles-based designer and stylist hosted an intimate dinner at a chic Marais apartment to toast Simkhai’s spring 2023 collection.
Unlike regular dinner parties where guests are assigned a seat for an evening, Simkhai wants his guests to enjoy a delicious meal without fuss. So instead of taking a formal seat, French chef Pierre Touitou prepared a candlelit table filled with delicacies ranging from shishito peppers to artichoke hearts and roasted beets.
The proximity to the gorgeous fireplace provides an aesthetically pleasing warmth as guests chat on the sofa with champagne. The two floated around the room, gathering Kristen Quinn, Law Roach, Aquaria, Ikram Abdi, Mia Regan, Paris Hilinski, Rachel Marx, Lulu Tenney, Declan Chan, Pernille Teisbaek, Tamu McPherson, Deborah Ababio, Friends and fashion superstars like Vikram Kansara, Vogue Thomas Delage of France and Julia Hobbs of UKVogue Had a fun night.
“My vibe is for creatives to come together and enjoy a Incredible night,” Simkhai said with a smile. The cozy apartment is dressed in modern minimalism with edgy minimalism and, of course, California style.
Setting the tone for the night, DJ Belaria, sporting a tailored look Simkhai’s latest collection made vinyl as guests mingled. Let Simkhai throw a light-hearted and cool party in Paris for all-night raves and after-party.
